SongTrack Studios started its design and construction back in the beginning of 2014 in a residential area just 15 minutes out of Salt Lake City, Utah. Taking nearly 7 years to build, every detail and nuance was planned "to the tee" to fulfill one revolutionary goal: turn Salt Lake into the next "Nashville", "New York", "L.A." etcetera, by producing music, and encouraging as many studios as possible to produce music, in a way that is rarely seen outside of the few remaining major record labels found in the world today, to keep that record production process alive! "I dream for the day when so many incredible artists here in Utah won't have to go out of state to produce hit records!", Jason comments. With over 12-foot ceilings, highly reflective floors, and dedicated spot-lighting, the studio’s tracking room takes on the role of the artist’s stage! “We wanted our studio to feel comfortable to artists that are used to performing on stage”, Jason says. After years of research and consulting with the highest of acousticians and studio design professionals, the studio has an isolation transmission loss of 61.5dB @ ~125Hz, and incorporates L.W. Sepmeyer’s Golden Ratios/Bolt Criteria. As such, it achieves the highest standard for acoustics and complies to international standards. With top of the line gear, sophisticated ventilation systems, electrical star grounding, and quietly controlled heating and cooling “it’s incredibly easy to lose yourself in the spirit of creation and lose all sense of time here, which is exactly how we like it!” Jason adds.
